Junior Front-End Developer, Korean Bilingual (Texas Remote)
Build responsive, CMS-integrated web interfaces with React, jQuery, HTML, and CSS. Work with design and backend teams to deliver scalable applications.
Description
- Create and implement web application interfaces with jQuery, ES6, React, CSS, and HTML
- Turn wireframes and design mockups into responsive, interactive pages alongside designers and backend developers
- Improve application speed, performance, and scalability
- Assess UI/UX designs for technical feasibility while maintaining code quality
- Keep current with evolving front-end technologies and industry practices
- Contribute to code reviews, testing, and debugging activities
- Connect web applications to content management systems and third-party APIs
Requirements
- Fluency in Korean and English
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
- At least five years of experience as a front-end developer or in a comparable role
- Proficiency with jQuery, ES6, React, CSS, and HTML
- Experience working with content management systems
- Strong knowledge of responsive design and mobile-first development
- Well-developed problem-solving abilities and careful attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Preferred: Experience using version control systems such as Git
- Preferred: Familiarity with front-end build tools and package managers, including Webpack and npm
- Preferred: Knowledge of Agile development practices
- Preferred: Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium and Cypress
