Junior DevOps and Cloud Engineer | Cube Asia | Hybrid Thailand
Support Cube Asia’s cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, and containerized environments in a junior engineering role. Work with engineering teams to strengthen secure, dependable software delivery.
Description
- Help provision, maintain, and operate cloud infrastructure and related services.
- Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines that enable dependable software delivery.
- Deploy and manage containerized workloads with Docker, Kubernetes, or comparable platforms.
- Support cloud networking, databases, monitoring, logging, alerting, backups, and disaster recovery operations.
- Monitor systems and applications, investigate alerts, troubleshoot incidents, and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Perform routine infrastructure maintenance, upgrades, and operational activities.
- Partner with Software Engineering and Data Engineering teams on infrastructure and deployment requirements.
- Contribute to infrastructure improvements and modernization initiatives.
Requirements
- Bring 1–2 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, system administration, SRE, or a related field.
- Have foundational experience administering Linux servers and working with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Understand CI/CD fundamentals and Git-based development workflows.
- Understand core cloud networking concepts.
- Have basic experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability tools.
- Know commonly used databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Can write basic Bash, Python, or similar scripts for automation and operational work.
- Hands-on Infrastructure as Code experience is desirable.
- Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with an interest in learning across engineering teams.
- Cloud or infrastructure certifications are advantageous.
