iOS Software Engineer - San Carlos Hybrid
Build Swift-based iOS applications for Beacon AI’s flight safety platform. Develop real-time mobile features using APIs, UIKit, and SwiftUI in a hybrid San Carlos role.
Description
- Create iOS features with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and current iOS frameworks
- Develop and support dependable, high-performance mobile applications alongside senior engineers
- Connect applications to internal and external APIs that power real-time data and functionality
- Partner with designers and product managers to deliver clear, intuitive mobile experiences
- Contribute to code reviews while applying established iOS practices and architectural patterns
- Maintain code quality, performance, and long-term maintainability through testing and documentation
- Build user-facing functionality for Beacon AI’s flight safety platform and production systems
Requirements
- At least two years of iOS development experience, or equivalent experience from internships, projects, or coursework
- Practical experience building with Swift and SwiftUI
- Some familiarity with UIKit and commonly used iOS frameworks
- Understanding of asynchronous programming, including async/await, multithreading, or GCD
- Basic experience with networking, APIs, or real-world data sources
- Hands-on experience using Swift
- Ability to work onsite in San Carlos, California, at least three days each week
- Authorization to work lawfully in the United States
- U.S. Person status under applicable U.S. export control regulations
- Unable to provide visa sponsorship or support visa transfers
- Current residence in or willingness to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area
