Internal Communications Manager (Hybrid, France)

Lead internal communications for Médecins du Monde France, shaping strategy, managing a communications team, and strengthening employee engagement across the organization.

Description

  • Lead Médecins du Monde France’s internal communications strategy and operations
  • Align communications planning with organizational goals and internal needs
  • Coordinate internal communications programs and initiatives
  • Mobilize and lead the internal communications network
  • Manage the department’s budget
  • Advise teams on their communications projects
  • Create communications plans for strategic and organization-wide priorities
  • Oversee major internal events
  • Manage internal communications tools and the production and distribution of content
  • Create content and co-manage La Boussole, the organization’s internal media outlet
  • Promote employee contribution processes and support cross-functional projects
  • Monitor trends and developments in the communications profession
  • Manage two Communications Project Managers
  • Supervise team members and coordinate communications stakeholders
  • Ensure internal communications reflect Médecins du Monde’s values, mission, and culture
  • Deliver initiatives that strengthen engagement and improve the employee experience
  • Measure initiative outcomes through key performance indicators
  • Collect employee feedback and introduce corrective actions
  • Prepare departmental activity reports

Requirements

  • A master’s degree in business or communications is required
  • At least 10 years of professional communications experience
  • Prior experience in the non-profit sector
  • Proficiency with communications tools and formats, including print, web, Microsoft Office, and related applications
  • Ability to engage project stakeholders and secure their support
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English
  • Ability to work effectively through change
  • Successful candidates must provide a criminal record extract (B3)
  • International sanctions-list screening may be conducted

  • Fixed-term contract running from December 14, 2026, through April 16, 2027
