Internal Audit Manager

Lead assurance engagements and audit teams for FCC, strengthening governance, risk management, and internal controls within a Canadian agricultural finance organization.

Description

  • Direct internal audit and advisory engagements focused on governance, risk management, and control practices
  • Lead audit teams through planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up
  • Develop practical recommendations that address identified risks and improve operations
  • Work with organizational leaders to assess risks, review findings, and advance continuous improvement
  • Coach and develop employees while promoting learning, collaboration, and strong performance
  • Assist with workforce planning, recruitment, training, and day-to-day leadership for the Internal Audit team
  • Provide independent assurance and insight on governance, risk management, and control practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CISA, CFE, CISSP, CRISC, or an equivalent credential
  • At least six years of experience in a financial institution across internal audit, risk management, compliance, financial audit, technology audit, or a related area
  • Background leading audit engagements, projects, or employees
  • Strong understanding of governance, risk management, internal controls, assurance methods, and audit standards
  • Effective communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and influencing abilities
  • English-language proficiency
