Information Security Coordinator – Curitiba, Brazil (Hybrid)

Coordinate information security governance, risk management, SecOps, SOC oversight, and initiative prioritization for Grupo Marista across its education, healthcare, and corporate operations.

Description

  • Prioritize security activities according to risk
  • Identify, assess, and monitor information security risks
  • Drive the practical implementation of security policies, standards, and controls
  • Track KPIs, KRIs, risks, and nonconformities
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and regulatory obligations, including LGPD and NIST CSF
  • Lead security operations by organizing and prioritizing activities
  • Manage SOC services, evaluating delivery quality and directing corrective adjustments
  • Oversee the handling of critical incidents and crisis situations
  • Track vulnerability remediation according to risk
  • Direct the SecOps team against established priorities and remove execution blockers
  • Coordinate communication of significant incidents to management and business units
  • Build and organize the security backlog based on risk
  • Ensure priority initiatives are delivered
  • Coordinate incoming requests and security project management
  • Track delivery progress and outcomes
  • Partner with IT and business teams to advance security initiatives
  • Align security activities with the operational needs of education, healthcare, and corporate divisions
  • Support decisions involving risk, operational impact, and business continuity

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC)
  • Previous experience coordinating or leading teams in security, infrastructure, or other critical operations
  • Hands-on experience with security operations, including SOC, incident response, and vulnerability management
  • Ability to set priorities based on risk and business impact
  • Experience overseeing vendors and tracking service-level agreements
  • Strong communication skills for working with technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or a related discipline
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or HIMSS security frameworks is desirable
  • Knowledge of risk management practices and security controls is desirable
  • Familiarity with security technologies such as EDR/XDR, WAF, firewalls, PAM, and SIEM is desirable
  • Knowledge of Microsoft environments, including M365, identity, and endpoint technologies, is desirable
  • Knowledge of IAM and IGA is desirable
  • Knowledge of cloud security is desirable
  • Certifications including CISM, CISA, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Auditor, Security+, CySA+, or Microsoft Security are desirable
