Game Mathematician – IGT, Belgrade (Onsite)
Develop mathematical models, simulations, and game mechanics for IGT’s digital casino and lottery products. Work with designers, developers, QA teams, and regulatory laboratories throughout the game development process.
Description
- Adapt, convert, analyze, and create game mathematics with internally developed tools.
- Update existing mathematical logic for new-market requirements.
- Design mathematical models for new game concepts.
- Create paytables, feature mechanics, probability models, RTP targets, and volatility balances.
- Tune payouts and gameplay characteristics with Game Designers.
- Collaborate on game concepts to support engaging gameplay and regulatory compliance.
- Extend mathematical behavior for brand extensions and game variants.
- Develop Python simulations to evaluate and validate game logic.
- Analyze and optimize game performance metrics.
- Work with Developers and other teams across the game development lifecycle.
- Prepare mathematical documentation for technical approval and jurisdictional requirements.
- Act as the internal contact for external laboratories’ game mathematics questions.
Requirements
- Strong Python knowledge, demonstrated during the assessment.
- Written and spoken English for communication with studios abroad.
- Knowledge of statistics and probability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Precise, detail-oriented, and exact working style.
- Proactive team player with a curious mindset.
- Solid technical English and effective communication skills.
- Ability to understand and analyze C# code is a plus.
