Full-Stack Software Engineer, Colombia Remote
Build full-stack features for a catering analytics platform using React, Node.js, and cloud services. The work includes point-of-sale integrations, data pipelines, and AI-powered capabilities.
Description
- Build and ship production features from design through deployment with limited supervision.
- Connect third-party point-of-sale APIs and create data pipelines for customer-facing analytics.
- Develop AI features using Claude and OpenAI APIs.
- Contribute to planning and brainstorming, offering feedback on larger feature initiatives.
- Investigate and resolve issues reported in client Slack channels.
- Update dependencies and address security vulnerabilities.
- Keep production applications running in Google Cloud Platform environments.
- Configure schedulers, task queues, and cloud infrastructure to support new features.
- Use the team’s multi-worktree process with Claude Code and Codex.
- Manage parallel work across projects while keeping defects low.
- Preserve test coverage and code quality across concurrent workstreams.
- Review pull requests and alert the team to errors.
- Report to the CTO and take features from planning through production monitoring.
Requirements
- Bring 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience in production settings.
- Have production experience with JavaScript and TypeScript across front-end and back-end code.
- Have production experience building user-facing React applications.
- Have production experience developing and deploying Node.js and Express APIs.
- Use Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or a comparable agentic coding tool hands-on each day.
- Demonstrate end-to-end feature ownership, from design and testing to production deployment.
- Communicate in English at C1 level or higher with the CTO and in client Slack channels.
- Experience with Next.js and MongoDB or another NoSQL database is preferred.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform infrastructure is preferred.
- Experience embedding Claude or OpenAI APIs in production applications is preferred.
- Experience building data ingestion pipelines or analytics dashboards from third-party API data is preferred.
- Experience working remotely with US-based teams is preferred.
