Full Stack Engineer (React, TypeScript, Go) — Remote in the United States

Build React and TypeScript interfaces alongside Go services for Oddball’s federal healthcare policy tools. Develop APIs and accessible digital experiences serving millions of Americans.

Description

  • Develop and maintain user interfaces with React and TypeScript
  • Design, build, and support backend services and APIs in Go
  • Integrate with GraphQL APIs using Apollo Client
  • Partner across frontend and backend teams to define data endpoints and API contracts
  • Produce clean, thoroughly tested, and maintainable code
  • Contribute to code reviews, architecture planning, and Agile ceremonies
  • Deliver interfaces that comply with federal accessibility requirements, including Section 508 and WCAG
  • Handle other related responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Practical experience developing frontend applications with React and TypeScript
  • Experience building backend services in Go
  • Experience working with GraphQL and Apollo Client
  • Strong understanding of API design and frontend-backend integration
  • Working familiarity with Docker, Git, and Cypress or comparable testing frameworks
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or a comparable relational database is preferred
  • Comfort working in a federal or regulated environment
  • Ability to succeed in a remote, collaborative Agile setting and work closely with cross-functional teammates
  • Clear, open communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Some positions may require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree
