Full Stack Developer | Markon | Chantilly, VA (Onsite)

Build secure Java, Angular, and AWS cloud-native applications for Markon’s Intelligence Community clients. Deliver microservices and DevSecOps solutions within Agile Scrum teams.

Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain secure cloud-native applications supporting mission-critical Intelligence Community operations.
  • Build modern full-stack solutions across front-end, back-end, and cloud platforms using microservices in an Agile Scrum environment.
  • Design, test, deploy, and maintain secure full-stack applications with modern development frameworks and cloud-native technologies.
  • Create scalable back-end services, microservices, and RESTful APIs with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Develop responsive front-end applications using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Connect front-end applications with back-end services.
  • Work with UI/UX designers to turn wireframes, mockups, and prototypes into production-ready interfaces.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain applications in AWS environments.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices with Jenkins and GitHub.
  • Implement secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls.
  • Investigate application issues and improve system performance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with software engineers, systems engineers, product owners, and Government stakeholders to deliver mission-critical solutions.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of experience developing full-stack software applications.
  • Experience building applications with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience designing and implementing microservices, RESTful APIs, and distributed application architectures.
  • Experience developing cloud-hosted applications in AWS environments.
  • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevSecOps practices with Jenkins and GitHub.
  • Experience implementing secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls.
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience creating technical documentation, architecture guidance, and standard operating procedures in Confluence.
  • Experience presenting software capabilities and architectural approaches to Government stakeholders and incorporating customer feedback into subsequent development.
  • Experience developing or supporting AWS-hosted applications, including AWS CloudTrail.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience developing applications with C#.
  • Experience supporting software development programs for the Intelligence Community.
