Description
- Identify and assess vulnerabilities in WordPress code
- Remediate and resolve identified vulnerabilities
- Review and analyze code, plugins, and custom developments
- Trace incidents and vulnerabilities to their root causes
- Implement fixes and verify that vulnerabilities are resolved without disrupting website functionality
- Contribute to a technology project for a client
- Work collaboratively as part of a technical team
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience developing and maintaining WordPress sites
- Strong PHP knowledge for reviewing, understanding, and modifying WordPress code
- Frontend development experience with HTML5, CSS3/SASS, and JavaScript
- Ability to analyze code and perform debugging
- Experience using Git and version control systems
- Ability to work effectively within a technical team
- Previous WordPress security experience is valued
- Experience identifying and remediating vulnerabilities is valued
- Knowledge of or experience with WordPress hardening is valued
- Experience with WPScan, Patchstack, PHPStan, or Psalm is valued
