Frontend Developer / Software Engineer – Katowice Hybrid

Build React and TypeScript applications for ING Hubs Poland’s analytics platforms. Improve performance, create automated tests, and collaborate with distributed teams.

Description

  • Create new features and reusable components
  • Build JavaScript and TypeScript web applications
  • Improve application performance and scalability, including browser rendering verification
  • Investigate incidents and debug issues to enhance performance
  • Create automated tests that validate business requirements
  • Integrate and work with RESTful APIs
  • Contribute to code reviews
  • Partner with clients, customer success, and quality assurance teams to better understand projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 3 years of experience with frontend technologies and frameworks in the React ecosystem
  • Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services and solutions
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem solving
  • Practical knowledge of DevOps practices, including Git, CI/CD, and monitoring
  • Experience working with other teams, such as UX
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a semi-remote, globally distributed team
  • Programming experience in Go and/or Java
  • Experience developing distributed, reactive applications
  • Good understanding of databases, particularly relational database management systems
  • Experience with message-oriented middleware such as Kafka
  • Experience using the ELK stack
