Fleet Controller - GXO Logistics, Northampton
Manage fleet administration and compliance for GXO Logistics’ Northampton operation. Maintain LGV records, resolve defects, and support vehicle accident reporting.
Description
- Support the Compliance Manager with the administration of a large LGV fleet
- Apply company standards, policies, and procedures to fleet operations
- Maintain accurate records in the Fleet Management System and other external platforms
- Keep fleet documentation current, accessible, and organized in line with legislation and guidance
- Monitor fleet compliance and escalate vehicle defects
- Encourage consistent reporting of vehicle accidents
Requirements
- Prior experience in vehicle fleet or transport administration
- Working knowledge of transport legislation covering drivers’ hours and vehicle maintenance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Hands-on experience with Axscend Vehicle Management System and Tachomaster
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Ability to process substantial data volumes while meeting deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
