Finance Manager – Pacific Doors (Auckland or Wellington)

Lead finance for ASSA ABLOY’s Pacific Doors business, covering accounting, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance. This full-time onsite role is based in Auckland or Wellington.

Description

  • Own the complete finance function for Pacific Door Systems Ltd
  • Process PAYE, FBT, provisional tax, ACC, GST, and other statutory payments accurately and on schedule
  • Prepare accurate, fully reconciled monthly management accounts by the required deadlines
  • Oversee monthly reporting, budgeting, strategic financial planning, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Apply and interpret standard costing models
  • Deliver group reporting, including HFM submissions
  • Prepare accurate, fully reconciled year-end accounts
  • Review, approve, and process weekly wages, monthly creditor payments, and other required disbursements
  • Maintain effective relationships with the Bank Manager and Tax Accountants
  • Handle additional finance tasks and projects as assigned
  • Report to the General Manager of Pacific Doors
  • Maintain accurate, compliant day-to-day accounting operations in line with legal and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting or an equivalent credential
  • CA or CPA qualification
  • At least five years of experience after qualification
  • Deep knowledge of fiscal management, financial processes, and reporting
  • Significant experience working with accounting systems
  • Strong foundation in traditional accounting, accounting systems, accounting principles, and applicable legislation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff effectively
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities
  • Clear and effective communication with senior leaders
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • A decisive, consistent approach to delivering results
