Field Service Technician II Abu Dhabi Onsite

Install, test, repair, and maintain TechnipFMC energy equipment in onshore and offshore service environments. Support field operations, customer service, safety, quality, and technical reporting.

Description

  • Install, test, repair, and maintain TechnipFMC and third-party equipment and tools in field conditions.
  • Prepare and execute service assignments in national and international operating environments.
  • Verify that equipment, tooling, backups, and spare parts are available, prepared, and suitable for use.
  • Complete and submit field service reports, job logs, and other required documentation.
  • Measure and record dimensions, weights, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates for testing, operations, and assembly reviews.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on procedures, parts needs, and critical measurements.
  • Operate the company-provided service vehicle in compliance with applicable driving requirements.
  • Support sales activities and keep customers updated throughout each assignment.
  • Represent TechnipFMC professionally, address customer complaints, and identify opportunities to improve the business.
  • Complete safety records and reinforce safe working practices.
  • Follow the Quality Management System, QHSE standards, and company code of ethics.
  • Prepare Field Non-Conformance Reports and notify the Service Coordinator of equipment or procedural defects.
  • Provide daily updates to the Service Project Manager and escalate critical operational, customer, or personnel issues.
  • Support Management of Change activities while promoting safety, knowledge sharing, professionalism, and customer success.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma, apprenticeship, or equivalent technical diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Relevant work experience may substitute for formal education.
  • 1.5 to 3 years of direct surface pressure control experience in onshore and offshore settings.
  • 3 to 6 years of Oil and Gas experience involving wellheads or other highly technical services and products.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience may substitute for advanced education.
  • Relevant safety credentials include T-BOSIET, H2S, ADNOC Safety Inductions, and CPR.
  • Completion of TechnipFMC Service Skills Training.
  • OGUK medical screening or an equivalent assessment.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, subsea, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment and tools, or structural steel.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Ability to operate the technical tools and instruments needed for the role.
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Advanced computer skills with MS Office, job ticketing systems, and engineering tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in demanding, fast-paced environments.
