- Conduct assigned operational audit procedures at lower- to moderate-risk locations
- Produce clear, complete, and well-organized audit workpapers
- Identify control weaknesses, exceptions, and unusual transactions for audit management
- Resolve reviewer feedback and revise audit results as needed
- Support physical inventory observations, validation procedures, and related audit work
- Review operational data for exceptions, trends, and possible control weaknesses
- Investigate discrepancies and collect evidence to determine root causes
- Use internal controls, company policies, procedures, and process knowledge to assess risk
- Apply sound judgment to routine audit matters and escalate higher-risk issues
- Present audit observations and testing results to branch management
- Take part in audit meetings, training, and professional development
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related discipline is preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel consistently, up to 70%
- Ability to work independently, manage audit assignments, and adjust to shifting priorities
- Basic knowledge of auditing, internal controls, or business processes is preferred
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
