Embedded Engineer, C Firmware - Onsite Poland

Develop C firmware for STM32-based wired and wireless security devices, with a focus on secure connectivity and real-time embedded systems. Support cybersecurity, certification, and product delivery through global mass production.

Description

  • Create C firmware for wired and wireless security products
  • Build secure device communications and firmware update solutions
  • Improve performance, memory usage, power efficiency, and reliability
  • Support products meeting professional security requirements, including EN50131 Grade 3
  • Create reusable embedded platforms for multiple product families
  • Develop for bare-metal, RTOS, and embedded Linux environments
  • Contribute to firmware architecture discussions with senior engineers
  • Debug issues, investigate failures, and identify root causes with professional development tools
  • Work with Hardware, QA, Product Management, Compliance, and Cybersecurity teams across the product lifecycle
  • Assist with verification, validation, certification, and manufacturing activities
  • Review code and help improve engineering practices
  • Work with engineering teams across global locations
  • Support products from initial concept through worldwide mass production

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Software Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
  • At least three years of embedded-systems firmware development experience
  • Proficiency in C programming
  • Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers
  • Working knowledge of bare-metal or RTOS-based embedded development
  • Experience debugging embedded systems with standard development tools
  • Understanding of embedded communication interfaces and protocols
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development practices
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills
  • Knowledge of secure bootloaders, firmware update methods, or basic cryptography
  • Experience with RTOS and Linux environments
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Experience contributing to certification activities
  • Experience working with globally distributed engineering teams
