Full-time onsite DevOps Engineer role with ITS, LLC in Colorado Springs, supporting automated DevSecOps pipelines and scalable cloud infrastructure. The work covers containerization, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and agile software teams addressing defense-focused challenges.

Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain deployment processes for large-scale architectures
  • Promote modern DevSecOps practices and explain DevSecOps culture and technology to prospective clients
  • Configure and deploy software to test and production environments using Docker, GitLab, and Ansible
  • Automate software engineering practices across multiple teams and projects
  • Advance contemporary software development practices across agile projects
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to clarify changing requirements and identify suitable technologies and architecture patterns
  • Establish multiple agile development teams and oversee DevSecOps pipeline implementation
  • Design, implement, and support CI, continuous testing, and continuous delivery solutions
  • Write automation scripts
  • Automate complex DevSecOps operations across integration, development, and product environments
  • Build fault-tolerant, scalable cloud infrastructure spanning databases, virtual networks, virtual machines, and automated load balancing
  • Contribute to cloud implementation and migration strategies
  • Support application onboarding, containerization, Kubernetes, and service mesh infrastructure
  • Deploy dashboards, gather metrics, and recommend optimization opportunities
  • Collaborate with teams solving next-generation defense problems
  • Keep current with developments in web applications and programming languages

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proficiency with YAML, XML, JSON, Python, Bash, Shell, and PowerShell scripting
  • Proficiency configuring CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo, Travis, and CircleCI
  • Working familiarity with Ansible, Terraform, and SaltStack for infrastructure automation
  • Working familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio containerization technologies
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Current Secret security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline
  • Two to five or more years of relevant experience
