Design Consultant - Mount Pleasant, SC (On-Site)
Provide Studio, Home, virtual, and on-demand design services for Ballard Designs customers in Mount Pleasant. Build local outreach while supporting retail merchandising and guest engagement.
Description
- Enhance the guest experience and grow the complimentary design service
- Collaborate with Design Consultants on community outreach and market expansion
- Engage guests and help them tailor spaces to their needs
- Deliver design guidance during Studio and Home visits, virtual appointments, and on-demand consultations
- Build relationships with local organizations and businesses that may benefit from Design Solutions
- Distribute Design Solutions marketing materials to local organizations and businesses
- Assist the retail team with order entry, visual floorsets, merchandising, store standards, maintenance, and product training
- Report to the Store Leader
Requirements
- At least two years of experience in interior design, consultation, and event planning
- Knowledge of space planning
- Basic drafting capability
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and basic floor plans
- Ability to conduct Home Visits with established guests
- Valid driver's license
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other varied hours
