Description

  • Define and implement client data protection strategies, standards, and controls.
  • Develop data protection architectures covering Data Loss Prevention (DLP), encryption, and cloud security.
  • Evaluate sensitive-information exposure and leakage risks, then establish mitigation measures.
  • Act as a technical authority for data protection programs and support cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Advance data governance, classification, and protection practices in line with regulatory and compliance obligations.
  • Support strategic information security and data protection decisions across corporate environments.
  • Transfer knowledge, advise teams, and encourage adoption of security controls and operating processes.
  • Track emerging technologies, industry trends, and leading practices to strengthen data protection capabilities.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives with clients and business stakeholders, ensuring regulatory compliance, information governance, and protection of critical assets.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in Data Protection, Data Security, Information Protection, or Security Architecture, including enterprise control definition and implementation.
  • Advanced expertise in Data Loss Prevention (DLP), preferably Microsoft Purview DLP.
  • Practical experience classifying, labeling, and protecting sensitive information.
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview Information Protection, Information Governance, Sensitivity Labels, and information lifecycle management.
  • Advanced understanding of encryption, key management, and data protection.
  • Experience using Azure Key Vault, Microsoft Azure native encryption technologies, and key management best practices.
  • Experience securing and governing cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure, including data protection services.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls, and Zero Trust Architecture.
  • Knowledge of privacy and data protection laws, including Brazil’s LGPD and the GDPR.
  • Experience conducting and mitigating information security risk assessments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Cloud Apps, Microsoft Entra ID, and monitoring and compliance tools.
  • Advanced English proficiency for collaboration in global environments.
  • Relevant certifications may include SC-100, SC-400, SC-300, AZ-500, CISSP, CCSP, or CISM.
  • Experience with AI governance and data protection for generative AI solutions and Microsoft Copilot.
  • Knowledge of Security Copilot.
  • Experience working across multi-cloud environments, including AWS and GCP.
