Description

  • Build, maintain, and support SQL-driven ETL processes, integrations, interfaces, and automated workflows across TPA applications and business systems.
  • Monitor scheduled integrations, file feeds, and automated processes; troubleshoot failures, performance problems, data discrepancies, and processing exceptions.
  • Conduct data validation, quality assurance testing, and reconciliation to verify accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
  • Collaborate with Systems, Claims, Eligibility, Billing, Account Management, and other operational teams on requirements, implementations, conversions, and data issue resolution.
  • Maintain data mappings, transformation logic, validation rules, technical specifications, process documentation, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Review datasets and integration outcomes to detect anomalies, determine root causes, identify control gaps, and improve data quality and process reliability.
  • Implement workflow automation and process enhancements that reduce manual work, reinforce controls, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and assessments on integration performance, data quality, and the operational effects of automation and process improvements.
  • Maintain documentation and supporting evidence in line with SOC requirements, internal controls, data security standards, and audit expectations.
  • Use approved technologies and Relation proprietary AI tools for analysis, documentation, testing, troubleshooting, and process improvement while safeguarding confidential and sensitive information.
  • Complete other assigned projects, duties, and tasks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A four-year degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in data integration, ETL development, database administration, systems integration, or a related technical role.
  • Experience in a third-party administrator, self-funded health plan, payer, healthcare administration, insurance, or employee benefits setting is preferred.
  • Experience with systems, data exchanges, and healthcare EDI transactions supporting claims, eligibility, enrollment, billing, pharmacy benefit management, or related TPA functions is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SOC controls, audit requirements, data security practices, and technical documentation standards is preferred.
  • Experience creating and maintaining SQL queries and SQL-based ETL processes in relational database environments.
  • Experience supporting integrations across relational databases, applications, APIs, EDI transactions, ETL tools, file exchanges, or workflow automation platforms.
  • Experience with data validation, quality assurance testing, reconciliation, and analysis of data anomalies or processing failures.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, data structures, data mapping, transformation logic, and data integrity controls.
  • Ability to document technical processes, integrations, workflows, and controls clearly and consistently.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to manage competing priorities and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
