Data Engineer Mexico Remote

Build scalable data pipelines, vaults, warehouses, and marts for Redwood Logistics’ supply-chain technology platform. Provide operational metrics for stakeholders across North America and Mexico.

Description

  • Build and maintain reliable pipelines from TMS and other source systems
  • Create and extend data structures to meet changing business needs
  • Maintain the Data Vault, Data Warehouse, and Data Marts
  • Provide key metrics to operational and business stakeholders
  • Work with internal stakeholders, executives, clients, engineers, and external vendors

Requirements

  • Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least five years of technology experience
  • Experience with one or more of Amazon Relational Database Service, including Aurora or MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Snowflake
  • Advanced SQL development and performance-tuning capabilities
  • Experience with TMS, WMS, or other enterprise logistics platforms is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Data Vault 2.0 is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Fivetran is strongly preferred
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory is strongly preferred
  • Experience with REST APIs is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other cloud platforms
  • Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and take initiative in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong communication skills
