Data Coordinator at Wiland (Remote, United States)

Wiland seeks a Data Coordinator to retrieve, transform, validate, and load client data into its marketing data system. This full-time remote position focuses on accurate, timely data processing and client communication.

Description

  • Retrieve files from internal and external FTP locations
  • Verify that data transmissions are complete
  • Place files in the correct directories and apply required naming conventions
  • Submit requests to the data warehouse team
  • Convert files into approved formats
  • Validate data accuracy and completeness according to established procedures
  • Confirm file receipt with clients
  • Notify the responsible Client Service Director and client of file receipt
  • Join new-client calls to verify that incoming data meets requirements
  • Ensure client data is complete and ready for loading
  • Analyze, convert, and regularly update assigned client data
  • Compare raw data with existing records
  • Configure conversions, filters, edits, translations, validations, standardization, and quality-control procedures
  • Ensure files load consistently without errors or misinterpretation
  • Correct data issues as needed
  • Complete assignments promptly and meet established deadlines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience
  • At least two years of experience with PC-based office automation software and Microsoft Windows
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Working knowledge of programming and data concepts
  • Experience converting large transactional data files for database use
  • Strong organization skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Residence in AR, AZ, CO, FL, GA, IA, IN, KS, MA, MI, MO, NC, NE, NH, OH, OK, PA, TX, VA, or WY; must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
