Creative Operations Manager (Contract) – California Remote

Huckleberry Labs is seeking a contract Creative Operations Manager to coordinate creative production and brand-web workflows for its parenting app. The role manages Asana and JIRA workflows, timelines, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional delivery.

Description

  • Manage the Creative Production Asana board as the central source of truth for active production work
  • Oversee request intake, ensuring work is properly scoped and assigned
  • Establish deadlines, timelines, and workback schedules for creative deliverables
  • Set priorities with the creative team while balancing capacity and incoming demand
  • Share regular status updates and collect stakeholder feedback throughout production
  • Organize and maintain creative assets in Google Drive for easy access
  • Lead a weekly sync to review progress, identify blockers, and align creative priorities
  • Manage Brand Web tickets through the Web-Brand JIRA board
  • Coordinate brand-web requests between the Development and Growth teams
  • Align priorities across Development, Growth, and Creative
  • Report on open tickets and initiatives through Slack and JIRA
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing team and external product partners

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in creative production, project management, or creative operations, preferably in-house or agency-based
  • Experience working directly with design or brand creative teams
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders while maintaining attention to detail
  • Proficiency with project management tools; Asana is preferred, and JIRA experience is a plus for Web-Brand ticket management
  • Confidence managing files in Google Drive and Workspace
  • Strong communication skills for aligning creative, Development, and Growth teams
  • Proactive, organized approach to setting timelines and holding teams accountable
  • Working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite for effective collaboration with creative teams
  • Experience coordinating web or brand development tickets
  • Basic understanding of web development workflows and terminology for collaborating with Development
