- Architect, deliver, and operate infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform
- Take ownership of the Terraform infrastructure-as-code foundation and its ongoing development
- Optimize serverless systems, including deployment processes, autoscaling, and resource utilization
- Develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines
- Improve platform visibility through effective monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Advance security and compliance practices in line with GDPR and ISO 27001
- Plan and implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies
- Work with product and engineering colleagues to provision infrastructure for new capabilities
- Set a strong standard for operational excellence through hands-on leadership
Requirements
- Bring 3–5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, backend engineering, or a related discipline
- Demonstrate strong practical expertise with Google Cloud Platform
- Use infrastructure as code confidently, particularly Terraform
- Have production experience with serverless and event-driven systems
- Understand SQL, NoSQL, and vector database technologies
- Have designed and operated CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, CircleCI, or Jenkins
- Work effectively with at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python or Bash
- Understand cloud networking, security, and cost management fundamentals
- Approach work pragmatically with a strong sense of ownership
- Be fluent in Italian and English
- Experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code is a plus
- Experience with artificial intelligence and large language models is a plus
