Description
- Assess client cloud environments and translate usage data into actionable cost insights
- Create tagging, reporting, and showback frameworks that improve spend visibility and accountability
- Optimize cloud usage through rightsizing, commitment strategies, and waste reduction
- Assess cloud cost-management tools and recommend options suited to each client’s context
- Collaborate directly with client engineering, platform, and finance teams
- Contribute to FinOps playbooks, methodologies, and the internal knowledge base
Requirements
- Several years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud operations
- Practical experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with infrastructure as code and automation, including Terraform and CI/CD
- Ability to learn quickly; relevant certifications are welcome
- Interest in the commercial side of cloud computing, including cost drivers and their business impact
- Previous FinOps experience is not required
- Fluent English communication skills
- Dutch or French language skills are an advantage
