Billing Associate Specialist - Hybrid

Handle hospital revenue-cycle billing, claims, statements, and patient-account records for Ensemble Health Partners. This hybrid role is open nationwide in the United States and may require occasional onsite work based on business needs.

Description

  • Administer client billing and verify that procedures align with contract terms
  • Review and update client statements when needed
  • Print and mail paper and secondary claims
  • Scan documentation into patient accounts
  • Assess correspondence and complete necessary follow-up
  • Support billing, correspondence, and document-scanning activities across the organization
  • Advance organizational goals while meeting regulatory compliance standards
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Earn the company-funded Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) credential within nine months of hire
  • Bring 1–2 years of hospital billing experience
  • Reside in and have authorization to work in the United States
  • Be willing and able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate offices when business needs require it
  • Experience with hospital operations, compliance, and provider relations is preferred
  • Insurance follow-up experience
  • Home health care billing experience
  • Epic experience
  • Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, and managed care billing
  • Demonstrate curiosity and openness to innovation, including AI
