Bilingual RN Onsite Health Coach – Boston, Massachusetts

Description

  • Deliver face-to-face health coaching and customer support onsite
  • Assess customers’ health education needs through focused health assessments
  • Refer customers to appropriate Cigna Evernorth clinical or client-specific programs
  • Create personalized health improvement plans and evidence-based goals with customers
  • Help customers achieve their health goals and take an active role in their health outcomes
  • Help customers address obstacles to improving their health
  • Lead and support wellness initiatives, including group coaching, wellness challenges, and health seminars
  • Conduct biometric screenings, including finger-stick testing, blood pressure checks, and body composition measurements
  • Apply biometric results and motivational interviewing to improve clinical outcomes
  • Support site-based health events, including open enrollment, wellness committee activities, flu shot events, and health fairs
  • Partner with matrix teams to advance the aligned client’s health and wellness strategy
  • Work across multiple client sites throughout greater Boston, Massachusetts

Requirements

  • Hold an active, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state and maintain active licensure
  • Bring at least three years of experience in health and wellness
  • Have at least one year of health coaching or health education experience
  • Maintain current ACLS, BLS, CPR, and AED certification
  • Demonstrate strong clinical skills
  • Bring effective, engaging presentation skills
  • Work independently with confidence
  • Maintain a customer-focused approach
  • Collaborate proactively and professionally with the client and matrix partners
  • Understand and take ownership of clinical targets and outcome measures while creating action plans
  • Demonstrate strong administrative, computer, and software application skills
  • Speak Spanish bilingually and pass oral and written language assessments
  • Chronic disease management experience, motivational interviewing training or experience, and smoking cessation and diabetes experience are preferred bonus qualifications
  • If working from home occasionally or permanently, have cable broadband or fiber-optic internet with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds
