Associate Territory Manager, Urology – Des Moines, IA

Teleflex is hiring an Associate Territory Manager to support UroLift and Barrigel urology devices in the Des Moines territory. The role combines surgical case coverage, clinical education, customer support, and territory sales assistance.

Description

  • Cover UroLift System and/or Barrigel rectal spacing cases within the assigned territory
  • Provide on-site clinical consultation during surgical procedures
  • Deliver follow-up support, troubleshooting, customer service, and education
  • Conduct sales activities and related support as directed by the Territory Manager or Regional Sales Manager
  • Maintain and communicate clinical and technical product expertise
  • Educate and train physicians, surgeons, hospital personnel, and office staff
  • Participate in industry training, meetings, and events
  • Stay informed about assigned and competing products
  • Maintain customer relationships and identify opportunities for sales strategy development
  • Build cross-functional relationships inside and outside Teleflex
  • Develop long-term account relationships that increase product utilization
  • Support key decisions and contribute to team collaboration
  • Perform basic market development activities
  • Organize information in CRM and related systems
  • Manage records and administrative tasks, including inventory, sales reporting, and expenses
  • Work with healthcare professionals, including urologists, physicians, nurses, technicians, procurement teams, inventory control, and administrative staff
  • Complete other assigned duties

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • At least one year of clinical or sales experience strongly preferred
  • Arrive on time and prepared for every assigned case
  • Able to remain mobile and travel as required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proactive, high-performing, and results-oriented approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Effective time management and administrative skills
  • Adaptable and willing to embrace change
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to establish and maintain credentials through RepTrax, Vendormate, and similar systems for hospital access
