Assistant General Counsel - El Paso, Texas (Hybrid)

Description
- Prepare, review, revise, and negotiate commercial contracts, licensing deals, distribution agreements, supply agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other business arrangements

- Work with business teams and company leaders to advance business goals while managing legal and enterprise risk
- Identify potential legal and business risks and develop mitigation measures
- Deliver legal guidance to business units and company leadership
- Research and assess laws, regulations, court decisions, and other relevant legal authorities
- Develop effective working relationships with business units and shared services teams
- Monitor legal developments and trends affecting the business
- Oversee outside counsel and manage related spending within approved budgets
Requirements
- Juris Doctor degree from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association
- At least three years of experience in-house or at a law firm
- Current license to practice law in Texas
- Authorization to work full-time in the United States
- Corporate or transactional law experience preferred
- Spanish proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing preferred
