Description

  • Take part in external audits and assurance engagements, from planning and fieldwork through completion
  • Collect and review financial information
  • Review prior-year files to understand client operations and identify audit risks
  • Work with senior auditors and other teams to gather, assess, and document financial evidence
  • Speak with clients to understand their accounting processes and obtain information
  • Prepare accurate working papers that meet professional standards and ethical principles
  • Suggest improvements to audit methods, flag client-side risks, and recommend practical actions

Requirements

  • Degree in accounting, finance, economics, auditing, business, or a related discipline
  • Auditing or accounting internship or work experience is an advantage but is not required
  • Knowledge of Greek GAAP, IFRS, or both
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
  • Fluent written and spoken Greek and English
  • Careful, analytical approach and commitment to accuracy
  • Able to handle multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Proactive approach to solving problems
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Professional handling of confidential and sensitive information
