Android Developer (Java and Kotlin)
Build native Android apps for knowmad mood’s mobile projects using Java, Kotlin, and Android technologies. Work across mobility solutions, from consulting through app store publication.
Description
- Develop native Android applications in Java and Kotlin.
- Support the team on ongoing mobile projects.
- Contribute to end-to-end mobility solutions, from consulting to publishing apps in app stores.
- Work on features involving augmented reality, geolocation services, and security.
- Collaborate with teammates to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience developing native Android applications with Java and Kotlin using MVP.
- Experience with Android Studio and its tools.
- Experience making API calls with Retrofit 2.
- Experience using Git and GitFlow.
- Knowledge of native media players and their lifecycle, including ExoPlayer.
- Android TV development experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Google Play Services and Google Assistant.
- Experience with a metrics or analytics SDK such as Adobe, Comscore, or Firebase Analytics.
- Knowledge of ad servers such as SpotX, Ooyala, FreeWheel, or SmartAdServer.
- Experience with video or audio advertising.
- Experience configuring Gradle builds and product flavors.
- Knowledge of Rx, Dagger, dependency injection, and Jetpack.
- Experience developing for a media platform.
