Monitor and investigate cybersecurity alerts for CrowdStrike customers across Windows, Mac, and Linux. Analyze malware, remediate malicious activity remotely, and support real-time incident response.

Description

  • Monitor and investigate security alerts in depth using the CrowdStrike platform
  • Apply incident-handling procedures across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments
  • Conduct malware analysis
  • Remediate malware and other malicious activity remotely
  • Improve incident detection, triage, and countermeasure processes
  • Prepare clear written and verbal communications, recommendations, and findings for customer management
  • Share security expertise through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and other public speaking events
  • Help advance security processes and procedures
  • Detect and respond to incidents in real time through CrowdStrike’s virtual security operations center

Requirements

  • Experience handling incidents, including leading or managing incident response and investigating targeted threats such as advanced persistent threats, organized crime, and hacktivist activity
  • Experience with computer forensics and multiple forensic analysis tools used in incident response investigations
  • Understanding of system internals and systems administration
  • Ability to conduct static and dynamic malware analysis
  • Strong knowledge of targeted attacks and the ability to develop tailored tactical and strategic remediation plans
  • Programming or scripting experience with PowerShell, C, C#, VB, Python, Perl, Ruby on Rails, and .NET
  • At least one relevant security certification
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Extensive experience with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix operating systems
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations productively and professionally
  • Strong time-management and multitasking skills
  • BA or BS, MA or MS, in a relevant listed field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated use of AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, increase efficiency, and drive business outcomes
