AI Architect, Microsoft AI and Copilot, Clarion Housing Group

AI Architect responsible for establishing safe, scalable Microsoft AI adoption at Clarion Housing Group. The role covers governance, security, Copilot solutions, and enterprise architecture across England.

Description

  • Create the foundations for safe, responsible, and scalable AI adoption across Clarion.
  • Develop standards, controls, and assurance methods that support AI delivery.
  • Apply requirements covering data readiness, identity and security controls, licensing, compliance, and user enablement.
  • Design AI solutions that are secure by design, well engineered, and consistent with enterprise architecture.
  • Direct AI demand toward high-value opportunities, including Copilot adoption and emerging agentic AI use cases.
  • Limit duplication, uncontrolled experimentation, and the spread of disconnected AI solutions.
  • Mentor colleagues and develop AI engineering capability within the Modern Workplace team.
  • Collaborate with Modern Workplace architecture and engineering teams to deliver AI across a governed Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Work alongside Digital Governance, Commercial, Risk, Legal, Data Protection, and Information Security teams.
  • Build confidence in responsible AI adoption and help teams convert ideas into well-managed solutions.

Requirements

  • Recognised Microsoft AI certification or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrated experience architecting and delivering enterprise-grade AI and Copilot solutions.
  • Working knowledge of how to operationalise AI governance.
  • Experience managing risks related to data protection, hallucinations, and bias.
  • Understanding of data, identity, security, and compliance foundations.
  • Confidence collaborating with Risk, Legal, Data Protection, and Information Security teams.
  • Experience developing AI impact assessments and defining operating models.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Purview, sensitivity labelling, DLP, Entra ID, and tenant boundary controls.
  • Programming literacy in PowerShell and Python.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering and agent design.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK is required; Clarion cannot provide visa sponsorship. Residence in England or Wales is required throughout employment.
