- Set and carry out merchandising and category plans for packaged vegetables.
- Manage and develop a team, including coaching and performance oversight.
- Make pricing, promotion, and assortment decisions informed by customer insights and competitor analysis.
- Work across teams to improve supply chain operations, vendor partnerships, and inventory management.
- Apply analytics to strengthen operating efficiency and the customer experience across channels.
- Oversee financial plans, budgets, and profit and loss for assigned categories.
- Negotiate with suppliers and uphold company policies and standards.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in business, merchandising, or a related field plus five years of experience in merchandising management, buying, financial planning, operations, or a related area; alternatively, seven years of experience in those areas.
- At least two years of supervisory experience.
- Extensive category and financial management experience, including profit and loss responsibility for complex categories.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop talent, oversee performance, and support engagement.
- Strong knowledge of category, assortment, and pricing strategies.
- Skill in supplier negotiations and vendor relationship management.
- Proficiency in business planning, budget forecasting, and improving operational efficiency.
- Strong communication and decision-making skills.
- Ability to use analytics to guide merchandising strategy.
