VP of Merchandising Systems
Lead Burlington’s Oracle Retail merchandising systems and cloud transformation. Guide engineering teams, technology investments, and AI adoption across merchandising.

- Set the vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for merchandising technology
- Direct the Oracle Retail migration and cloud upgrade
- Keep Oracle Retail and custom merchandising applications stable, scalable, and ready for future needs
- Create cloud operations and support models, methods, and best practices
- Track retail merchandising technology and AI developments, and turn them into business innovation
- Work with senior and executive leaders, solution providers, consultants, vendors, infrastructure teams, and security teams
- Deliver strategic initiatives across Merchandising, Planning, Pricing, and Allocations
- Partner with AI and Innovation teams to expand AI use in merchandising
- Lead, mentor, and develop software engineering teams responsible for Oracle Retail, custom applications, EDI, and data integration
- Oversee external vendors and service providers, multimillion-dollar capital and operating budgets, support agreements, and strategic partnerships
- Build Burlington’s standing as a retail technology innovator while overseeing performance measures and talent development
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another technical field
- At least 15 years of IT experience delivering large-scale retail merchandising systems
- At least 10 years of leadership experience
- Prior experience implementing Oracle Retail SaaS solutions is strongly preferred
- Retail industry experience is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of merchandising systems and Oracle Retail, including Merchandising Core, Pricing, Markdown, Merchandise Financial Planning, Allocations, Invoice Matching, and Demand Forecasting
- Experience with modern application architecture, cloud, EDI and integration, data integration, and software delivery methods
- Track record of delivering results on time and within budget
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to sit for 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week
