ServiceNow Platform Data Security Engineering Manager
Lead security engineering for Ameriprise’s ServiceNow platform in India’s financial services environment. The role covers identity and access, encryption, compliance, integrations, and security governance.

- Build secure authentication using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, LDAP, and MFA.
- Design and manage role-based access control across ServiceNow modules.
- Set and enforce access control rules at table, field, and record levels.
- Configure permissions for scoped applications.
- Manage platform user groups and locations.
- Maintain user provisioning and de-provisioning workflows integrated with enterprise identity and access management systems.
- Audit login activity, session controls, and access violations.
- Bring ServiceNow access policies into line with enterprise security standards and compliance frameworks.
- Set and enforce platform security policies, standards, and practices.
- Create governance frameworks for secure development, data protection, and risk reduction.
- Define data classification, retention, and discovery approaches.
- Protect data at rest and in transit, including management of encryption keys.
- Set policies for data collection, storage, use, sharing, archiving, and destruction.
- Watch access patterns and system activity for potential security threats.
- Improve secure API management for ServiceNow connections to third-party security tools.
- Protect data exchanges and prevent unauthorized access.
- Coach platform engineers and developers on secure coding, identity management, and data handling.
- Work with cybersecurity, data, and infrastructure teams.
- Lead technical design reviews, platform governance, and security roadmap planning.
आवश्यकताएँ
- In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow SecOps, GRC, RBAC, ACLs, and platform security practices.
- Strong grasp of NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
- Expertise in SSO, MFA, OAuth, LDAP, and user authentication.
- Experience with REST APIs, JavaScript, OAuth, and secure integrations.
- Understanding of SaaS security, encryption, and cloud security models.
- Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- Certified Implementation Specialist in SecOps or GRC.
- At least 15 years of IT security experience.
- At least 12 years in ServiceNow security architecture, administration, or operations.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow security automation, incident response, and risk management.
- Previous work with cybersecurity, risk management, and IT governance teams.
- Preferred: experience securing large ServiceNow deployments in regulated industries.
- Preferred: CISSP or CISM certification.
- Preferred: familiarity with emerging security trends, zero trust architecture, and AI-driven security solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
