Senior SQL Server Database Administrator - TINET, Hybrid Santiago
Senior DBA role managing on-premises and cloud SQL Server environments for TINET, a Chilean digital transformation consultancy. Responsibilities include high availability, security, backups, performance tuning, and migrations.

- Manage and operate SQL Server instances and databases across on-premises and cloud environments, including Azure and GCP.
- Proactively monitor availability, capacity, resource consumption, blocking, and errors.
- Manage backups, restores, and disaster recovery testing.
- Tune queries, indexes, statistics, and database engine configuration.
- Manage users, roles, permissions, and security hardening.
- Resolve incidents and service requests while participating in change and patching windows.
- Support migration projects and version upgrades.
- Collaborate with the internal DBA through knowledge transfer and technical documentation.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of proven experience as a SQL Server DBA in critical production environments.
- Experience in banking, insurance, pension, or other financial-sector environments is valued.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2016 or later, including installation, configuration, security, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with high-availability technologies such as Always On, Failover Cluster, Log Shipping, and replication.
- Experience with performance tuning, including execution plans, waits, blocking, and parallelism.
- Experience with Azure SQL, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and/or GCP.
- Advanced T-SQL and SQL Server Agent skills.
- Experience working with ITIL and formal change and incident management processes.
- Current Microsoft data platform certifications are desirable.
- Experience with Bantotal and/or SAP integrations.
- Occasional availability to handle incidents or change windows outside regular working hours.
