Senior Snowflake Data and Analytics Consultant
Senior consultant responsible for building scalable Snowflake data platforms, enterprise warehouses, and business intelligence solutions for Datacom customers. Leads delivery across Azure, Power BI, and ETL/ELT technologies.

- Lead the design and delivery of modern data platforms and enterprise data warehouse solutions
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops to capture and refine customer requirements
- Create relational and dimensional models for complex data environments
- Implement Snowflake solutions, including enterprise warehouse migrations and integrations
- Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration architectures
- Improve data platform performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Develop Power BI reports, semantic models, and self-service analytics capabilities
- Support CI/CD workflows, Git integration, DevOps practices, and automated deployments
- Prepare technical documentation, transfer knowledge, and advise customers
- Partner with customers and Datacom’s Data & Analytics team to design, build, and optimise scalable data solutions
आवश्यकताएँ
- Applicants must be based in New Zealand
- Current New Zealand working rights are required
- Immediate availability is strongly preferred
- At least 7 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise data warehouses
- At least 7 years of experience in ETL architecture and design
- At least 7 years of dimensional data modelling experience, including Star and Snowflake schemas
- Advanced hands-on experience with Snowflake
- Strong experience with Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric
- Experience with Coalesce, dbt, Matillion, Fivetran, and Azure/Fabric Data Factory
- Advanced Python and SQL skills
- At least 5 years of Power BI and semantic layer development experience
- Strong Power Query and DAX expertise
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, DevOps, and deployment automation
- Strong consulting, stakeholder management, and communication abilities
- SnowPro and Coalesce certification, or a relevant Microsoft Azure/Fabric Data Engineer certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
