- Guide technical development and coordination from design development through construction documents.
- Address technical, building code, and agency approval issues throughout project phases.
- Manage project teams of up to four staff members.
- Provide team members with performance feedback and evaluations.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Check project documents for quality, accuracy, coordination, and code compliance.
- Help plan schedules, budgets, staffing, and fees.
- Develop work plans, estimate hours, and help keep work within budget.
- Coordinate with government agencies and manage plan check comments and approvals.
- Lead or attend Owner/Architect/Contractor meetings.
- Mentor team members and provide coaching and technical guidance.
- Contribute to proposals, interviews, and occasional marketing activities.
- Keep projects aligned with contracts, client expectations, and firm standards.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Professional degree in architecture or a related discipline, such as interior design, civil engineering, construction management, or Revit drafting.
- Active California architectural license for the Project Architect designation.
- At least seven years of experience, with technical proficiency across all architectural phases.
- Substantial experience with construction documents, coordination, and quality control.
- Ability to lead teams, delegate work, and provide performance feedback.
- Knowledge of building codes, agency requirements, and plan check processes.
- Ability to manage budgets, understand contractual liabilities, and support fee and scope development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and decision making skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Commitment to following firm procedures, standards, and client protocols.
- Ability to work in the Ontario, California office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
