  • Represents the organization in claims-related legal matters
  • Advises claims personnel on legal issues and claim handling
  • Maintains oversight of claims files and litigation expenses
  • Develops and executes claims litigation strategy

  • Delivers legal guidance and training to promote consistent file handling
  • Manages litigation costs and claim severity
  • Responds to subpoenas, court orders, and other legal requests in accordance with applicable laws and company policies
  • May attend relevant trials without serving as attorney of record
