- Lead, mentor and grow a high-performing data engineering team
- Set and deliver the engineering strategy for Group Security data platforms and products
- Direct the migration of data capabilities from legacy systems to a modern cloud environment
- Provide technical direction across data architecture, modelling, integration, platform design and engineering standards
- Oversee secure, resilient and scalable data pipelines, services and reusable data products
- Advance engineering quality through automation, testing, observability, CI/CD and disciplined operations
- Work with product owners, architects, security specialists and engineering leaders to turn complex needs into effective solutions
- Balance transformation goals, delivery commitments, platform health, risk and technical debt
आवश्यकताएँ
- Substantial experience leading and developing data engineering teams, including mentoring senior technical professionals
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale data platforms, data products or analytics solutions
- Advanced capability in data architecture, modelling, integration and platform design
- Hands-on experience designing and delivering solutions with AWS data services and systems
- Background leading complex platform transformation or migration programs
- Strong understanding of modern data engineering, distributed processing and cloud-native platforms
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and explain complex technical decisions with clarity
- Strong focus on risk management, security, reliability and operational excellence
- Snowflake experience is strongly preferred
- Experience with Python, SQL, Spark, AWS services such as EMR, Glue or Redshift, and enterprise self-service data platforms is highly regarded
- Cybersecurity experience is beneficial but not required
