- Own end-to-end architecture for large-scale distributed data, streaming, and integration solutions
- Lead architecture for distributed data, integration, and platform solutions
- Provide architectural direction, governance, design assurance, and technical leadership across initiatives
- Evolve target architecture in line with enterprise technology strategy, engineering standards, and long-term platform goals
- Lead architecture for the Enterprise Data Lake, Operational Datastore, and related services in Cloudera CDP on AWS
- Design and document scalable distributed data and streaming solutions across Cloudera, Kafka, APIs, and cloud platforms
- Define patterns for data ingestion, processing, storage, and consumption
- Provide architectural oversight throughout solution delivery
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure solutions are deliverable, scalable, secure, supportable, and aligned with enterprise principles
- Review technical designs created by engineering teams
- Assess technical risks, dependencies, assumptions, non-functional requirements, and design trade-offs
- Support delivery planning by dividing solutions into incremental releases and sprint outcomes
- Present solution designs to architecture review boards and governance forums
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and enterprise architects
- Develop and promote architectural patterns, engineering standards, and best practices across the data platform ecosystem
आवश्यकताएँ
- Bring at least 10 years of IT experience, including substantial work delivering data platforms, integrations, or distributed systems
- Demonstrate experience architecting streaming or real-time data applications with Kafka or comparable event-streaming technology
- Understand Kafka consumer architecture, including consumer groups, offsets, retries, dead-letter handling, ordering, partitioning, and scalability
- Have designed solutions on Cloudera CDH/CDP or comparable enterprise-scale distributed data platforms
- Have designed and delivered large-scale patterns for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption
- Understand both batch and real-time data processing architectures
- Have worked in complex enterprise environments involving multiple systems, vendors, platforms, and governance processes
- Understand non-functional concerns such as performance, scalability, resilience, security, observability, and operational support
- Have provided architectural leadership across multiple workstreams, programs, or delivery teams
- Have mentored architects, senior engineers, or technical leads and influenced technical decisions
- Bring expertise in distributed data platforms and data lake architecture on Cloudera CDH/CDP or equivalent technologies
- Bring expertise in event streaming and real-time integration, including Kafka and related messaging patterns
- Know large-scale processing and transformation frameworks such as Spark, Flink, Hive, Impala, or equivalent technologies
- Have experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST services
- Know NoSQL and distributed storage technologies such as HBase, Cassandra, or equivalent platforms
- Have experience with cloud services, preferably AWS
- Understand DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and resilience
