Senior Accountant (US Remote)
Lead the transition of accounting operations in-house for Honeydew Health’s AI-powered digital dermatology platform. Own close, reconciliations, revenue recognition, automation, and controls that support a growing finance function.
विवरण
- Internalize accounting operations from the outsourced provider
- Own the general ledger, payables, receivables, reconciliations, and monthly close
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, payroll, and revenue reconciliations
- Target monthly book closure by the fifth business day
- Maintain the general ledger and accounts payable records
- Administer Brex and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain financial support documentation and internal controls
- Lead accounting AI and automation initiatives while validating their outputs
- Create and maintain SOPs and accounting policies
- Develop scalable processes and controls for the finance function
- Complete the transition from outsourced accounting within 120 days
- Reconcile and document key balance-sheet accounts, resolving items older than 30 days within 90 days
- Publish SOPs for priority accounting processes within 150 days
आवश्यकताएँ
- End-to-end ownership of the full close cycle, including month-end and year-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Experience with GAAP revenue recognition for recurring or subscription revenue
- Experience incorporating AI or automation tools into accounting workflows
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience with systems automation is preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks or a comparable accounting system is preferred
- Experience with data modeling, SQL, Databricks, or a similar tool is preferred
- Ability to balance efficiency with accuracy
- Ability to verify and fact-check AI-generated accounting outputs
- Ability to identify blockers early and recommend solutions
- Ability to document processes and develop scalable accounting controls
- Must be authorized to work for any US employer without restriction
