- Design, build, and improve scalable data pipelines with Airflow, Python, dbt, and Snowflake
- Automate fragile manual processes through robust, dependable workflows
- Maintain and advance AWS and GCP infrastructure with Terraform
- Develop production-quality code for complex data-processing workloads
- Promote effective code reviews, testing, and CI/CD practices
- Work with analysts on efficient SQL transformations and Snowflake data models
- Add observability and monitoring to strengthen data reliability and quality
- Collaborate with Data Analysts and Product Managers to deliver dependable data products
- Help manage the FastAPI data API, covering endpoint design, performance, deployment, monitoring, and reliability
- Define data-platform frameworks, standards, and engineering best practices

- Applicants must be located in the United States
- Demonstrated Python proficiency for modular, testable, and efficient data processing and automation
- Advanced SQL skills and cloud data-warehouse experience, preferably with Snowflake
- Experience building and maintaining complex workflows with Airflow or comparable tools
- Working knowledge of Terraform and AWS or GCP services
- Experience working with PHI and PII, implementing RBAC, and following rigorous governance standards
- Ability to work through ambiguity and take ownership in a high-growth startup
- Ability to explain complex technical issues as clear options for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with dbt, healthcare data or HIPAA, Docker/Kubernetes, backend or API development, or MLOps is a bonus
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; any visa sponsorship requirement is addressed during the application
