Outside Sales Representative – Northern California Equipment Rentals
Drive equipment-rental sales across Northern California from the San Jose area. Manage existing accounts, win new customers, and grow territory revenue and market share.

- Meet individual and company sales targets through consultative selling and responsive customer service.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with existing accounts.
- Identify and acquire new customers.
- Provide sales and marketing coverage throughout the assigned territory.
- Work with internal teams to build trusted relationships with managers and other key decision-makers.
- Maximize territory sales by applying competitive techniques and knowledge of company products, services, and competitors.
- Expand the account base and increase sales volume consistently.
- Review and adjust territory activities to strengthen market share.
- Evaluate offerings and recommend market-share growth strategies to management.
- Build knowledge of local projects, market conditions, products, services, and emerging technologies.
- Respond promptly to internal and external stakeholders and maintain clear correspondence.
- Record organized sales activity documentation in Liftware CRM.
- Prepare daily reports covering account activity, open proposals, won proposals, and lost proposals.
- Provide customer information and complete follow-up activities as requested.
- Handle other related responsibilities as assigned.
आवश्यकताएँ
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least three years of B2B or non-retail sales experience is required.
- Knowledge of industrial equipment or general rigging is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of industrial construction and maintenance is strongly preferred.
- Equipment-rental outside sales experience is an advantage.
- A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.
- Candidates must satisfy insurance underwriting requirements.
- Candidates must live near San Jose, California.
- Candidates must be able to visit existing and prospective customers daily within the assigned territory.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Employment is subject to criminal background and driving history checks.
- Employment is subject to employment-history verification.
- Employment is subject to a hair follicle drug test.
- The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
