Mid-Level Labor and Civil Litigation Attorney
Manage civil and labor cases, legal risks, and external counsel at Stefanini Brasil. Support corporate litigation across a major Latin American technology ecosystem.

- Manage civil and labor litigation cases.
- Review pleadings and defenses, develop legal arguments, and track relevant proceedings.
- Attend civil and labor hearings and represent the company when needed.
- Draft responses to extrajudicial notices and counter-notices.
- Handle collection, annulment, declaratory, and other civil litigation actions.
- Advise on litigation risks, civil liability, defense strategies, liability mitigation, prospects of success, and provisions.
- Work with Human Resources, Personnel Administration, the company clinic, Finance, Collections, and Sales.
- Oversee external law firms, reviewing their strategies and work quality.
- Coordinate case schedules, court deadlines, hearings, and activities across the litigation portfolio.
- Prepare management and executive reports on contingencies, metrics, and legal risks.
- Help set strategies for significant cases and support internal and external audits.
- Follow internal governance, compliance, and risk management policies.
- Find ways to improve legal processes using technology, automation, and artificial intelligence.
आवश्यकताएँ
- Hold a law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
- Postgraduate study in Labor Law, Civil Procedural Law, Corporate Law, or a related field is an advantage.
- Bring at least four years of legal practice, active OAB registration, and civil and/or labor litigation experience.
- Have experience managing court proceedings and supervising outside law firms.
- Know Civil Procedural Law and Labor Law well.
- Have reviewed pleadings, assessed defenses, developed litigation strategies, and participated in hearings.
- Have handled extrajudicial notices and collection actions, and monitored court proceedings.
- Be able to assess legal risks, civil liability, contingencies, and provisions.
- Have worked with internal teams to collect documents, align information, and shape defense strategies.
- Be highly organized, manage deadlines and dockets, and track high-volume litigation portfolios.
- Use Excel proficiently to maintain controls, track metrics, and prepare reports.
- Intermediate or advanced Spanish is preferred.
- English skills for reading, communication, and corporate interaction are preferred.
- Experience with operations or legal matters in Latin American countries is preferred.
