Mid-Level Data Analyst, Insurance Analytics
Develop data solutions for Stefanini’s insurance business, from Lakehouse modeling and data transformations to Power BI dashboards.

- Work with business and technical teams to understand needs, rules, context, and expected value.
- Turn business needs into technical solutions and data models.
- Create data transformations with Databricks, PySpark, and SQL.
- Build and refine Lakehouse data across the Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers of the medallion architecture.
- Prepare curated, integrated, reliable data for varied uses.
- Set and apply transformation rules, relationships, granularity, keys, and model structures.
- Create and maintain reusable datasets and analytical models.
- Evaluate data quality, consistency, and reliability.
- Conduct business analysis and help generate insights.
- Create and improve Power BI dashboards and visualizations.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams.
- Track work, progress, decisions, and blockers in Jira.
- Take part in Scrum ceremonies and practices.
- Document relevant context, decisions, and agreements through asynchronous communication.

- Knowledge of Data Lake or Lakehouse environments and medallion architecture.

- Knowledge of Scrum and agile practices.
- Preferably located in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, or nearby.
- Available to work in a hybrid arrangement, including on-site attendance at the CAS once a week.
- Able to work independently, stay organized, and communicate effectively.
- Preferred: prior insurance industry experience; familiarity with insurance products, processes, or KPIs; experience across Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, analytics, and data visualization; and the ability to connect business needs with analysis, modeling, and technical implementation.
