Legal Programs Manager, Privacy & AI
Lead privacy and AI governance programs at Hims & Hers, a personalized healthcare platform. Coordinate compliance, risk reviews, and cross-functional legal initiatives.

- Run daily operations for the Hims & Hers AI governance program.
- Create processes, workflows, and documentation for responsible AI use.
- Manage the AI governance committee across Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Legal.
- Lead AI incident response and connect it with data security and privacy risk management.
- Maintain an inventory of AI systems and use cases.
- Track AI regulations, including the EU AI Act and U.S. state laws, and update program practices accordingly.
- Work with the Privacy Program Manager to operate and improve the Privacy Program.
- Support compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and medical privacy laws.
- Maintain data maps, processing records, and legitimate interests assessments.
- Coordinate risk assessments and audits.
- Perform initial privacy reviews of new initiatives and arrange escalated reviews when needed.
- Support privacy reviews within the Vendor Review Program.
- Lead strategic legal projects with Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
- Work with Legal and Public Policy teams to track privacy and AI legislation.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
- At least 6 years of legal project or program management experience focused on privacy and/or AI governance required.
- Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and/or emerging AI regulations.
- Experience managing stakeholders and cross-functional teams from project start through completion.
- Experience handling multiple, sometimes competing priorities.
- Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and track record of delivering operational results.
- Ability to work independently across teams and engage stakeholders from frontline engineers to company leadership.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction for any employer.
- Must not require Hims & Hers immigration sponsorship to work in the United States.
