- Set and deliver the technical strategy for Logistics Services engineering
- Lead an approximately 59-person organisation spanning DaaS, Integrations, and Tooling
- Direct delivery, technical direction, and architectural development across integrations, operational tooling, and the DaaS platform
- Drive consolidation into dependable shared services that reduce fragmentation and strengthen reliability and scalability
- Work with product and engineering leaders to align roadmaps and prioritise investment
- Promote technical excellence, experimentation, psychological safety, and ongoing improvement
- Maintain operational resilience and service reliability for high-scale, real-time systems
- Develop engineering leadership through coaching engineering managers and senior engineers
- Own recruitment, retention, and organisational design
- Manage a multi-million-dollar engineering budget, vendor approach, and technology investment choices
- Engage with Director, VP, and Board stakeholders while building partnerships across Engineering, Product, Operations, and the broader business

- Extensive engineering leadership experience, including several years managing large distributed organisations of 50 to 100 or more people
- Experience leading platform or integration engineering at scale, ideally delivering B2B or external-facing services in logistics, marketplaces, or similarly complex environments
- Strong technical understanding of distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native platforms
- Demonstrated success building and scaling engineering teams, developing engineering managers, and establishing a high-performing culture
- Experience leading platform consolidation or shared-service migrations across complex, fragmented technology environments
- Ability to turn business priorities into a clear technical roadmap and secure alignment around it
- Clear communication and stakeholder-management skills with technical and non-technical audiences
- Practical experience with DevOps, CI/CD, agile delivery, and data-informed decision-making
- Experience managing vendors and controlling budgets at substantial scale
